Carve Your Tree and Accept Your Burden - Original A4 Drawing

This contemplation on the Easter story depicts Christ before the Cross in the Garden of Gethsemane, with the tree of the Garden of Eden behind, with a smaller cross protruding from it. This foreshadowing - the tree of the Garden as the Cross - is a symbol from the mystical Christian tradition that further highlights the hyperlinked nature of the Bible. 
 
Anyway - this piece is imbued with meaning and is a reminder of the suffering we all have to face, and manage, on this psychedelic journey we call life.
