Ogham was a script used in Ireland, Wales and the South-West of England between around the 3rd and 6th centuries, mainly as stone carvings. It was used in both Early Gaelic/Irish and Latin, and usually carved onto memorial stones and to demarcate land borders. We don't really know how or why the Irish invented it. Either way, it's cool, and a beautiful part of our shared history on the British Isles.
