Learn to draw Celtic Knots: the Basics

Service Description

Across 3 sessions we will delve into the basic construction methods of Celtic Knotwork. These sessions are perfect for everyone from complete creative novices to professional artists looking to add another skill to their repertoire. Session 1 - 6/11/23. How to construct a basic knot, with a brief intro to their history and uses throughout time. Session 2 - 13/11/23. Getting more complicated. How to extend and expand our knots, and how to manipulate their routes and patterns. Session 3 - 20/11/23. Using our skills to create our own unique knots. Also learning a bit about their variations in different cultures. NB: Through my booking system, you must book each session individually. Please go to the calendar and select the dates, then book your space. To take part you will need a pencil, a ruler, a rubber, paper, and a pen (biro or fineliner) Additionally you may want to bring any pens/colouring pencils/paints you like using.
